Lefty's Oyster & Seafood Bar

Lefty's Oyster & Seafood Bar landed at 428 N Lemon Ave in downtown Sarasota and immediately made an impression, winning Best Oysters and Best New Restaurant 2025. The focus is coastal seafood done with care, sourced through local partners including Oyster Boys Conservation.

Beyond the oysters, the bar puts real thought into its cocktail program: the Lefty's Lemonade, Oyster Shooters, Garden Party, and Water Lily are signatures worth ordering. Happy hour runs Monday through Friday, 4–6 PM and 9 PM to close.

Live music plays Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, which gives the place a social, lively energy on weekends. The atmosphere is rustic and comfortable — more neighborhood seafood spot than white-tablecloth affair.
